Finding inspiration in an unlikely place.

Hi there. I'm Eric Hagemann, and I started Leif Media & PR because I have a passion for writing content that inspires, creating solutions that resonate, and helping others achieve their dreams.

My career as a professional communicator has taken me from the private and public sectors to the PR agency world. In those roles, I led communications efforts for everything from power generators to roof ventilation to K-12 education. Along the way, I achieved some pretty great results and gained the trust of my clients and colleagues.

In 2022, I took a leap of faith and followed my heart into this venture. As Leif's founder and strategist, I'm thrilled to work with school districts, education organizations and nonprofits across the country—offering communications with heart.

So…where does ‘Leif’ come in?

Ellen Leif was one heck of a woman.

A baseball-loving, big-hearted friend to all, my great-grandma Ellen had a strong spirit and sense of humor that saw her through life’s ups and downs. And although she's been gone for a while, she left an indelible mark on my family that I only recently began to understand.

Ellen was a fierce protector of her family and years ahead of her time—at a time that wasn't easy for women. She was loving and strong, generous and nurturing, optimistic and joyful.

It's in this spirit of kindness, generosity and joy that I founded Leif Media & PR and am proud to offer communications support in her name.

Because our world could use a little more of the joie de vivre she brought to it.
